Job Summary:
Supermicro is seeking a highly experienced and proven Sales Manager with strong Sales Operations expertise to drive enterprise growth through both direct sales and operational excellence. This individual will be responsible for selling Supermicro's broad portfolio of server solutions to large enterprise customers, while also optimizing sales processes, systems, and analytics to scale revenue performance.
The ideal candidate will have a successful track record managing end-to-end sales cycles involving complex, multi-portfolio deals, while also bringing deep expertise in Salesforce, sales operations, and revenue optimization. This hybrid role requires both strong executive relationship management skills and the ability to design, implement, and manage modernized sales processes powered by automation, analytics, and AI. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Sales Leadership & Growth Develop net new enterprise customers across targeted verticals and industries as strategized.
Hunt, qualify, and close new opportunities; create and execute target lists for vertical markets.
Build and maintain strong, credible relationships with C-Level executives and key decision-makers.
Consistently achieve and exceed sales quotas through effective territory and account management.
Negotiate pricing, manage order processes, and resolve credit/return issues as needed.
Represent Supermicro solutions with strong technical and business acumen. Sales Operations & Process Optimization Design and implement scalable, tech-enabled sales processes, integrating AI and automation into lead management, qualification, and outreach.
Partner with Sales, Marketing, Data Science, and IT to identify business challenges and deliver process and system improvements.
Own Salesforce strategy and execution, including lead scoring, opportunity management, and reporting.
Build automated workflows for lead qualification, nurturing, and follow-up to accelerate pipeline velocity.
Develop and maintain BRDs, process flows, and documentation to ensure cross-functional alignment.
Collaborate with analytics teams to monitor KPIs, identify performance gaps, and drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience, preferably in the high-tech industry.
5 - 7+ years of combined experience in enterprise technology sales and sales operations/revenue operations .
Proven track record of closing large, complex enterprise deals in server, storage, or related infrastructure solutions.
Strong knowledge of Salesforce (certifications preferred), with hands-on experience configuring, managing, and optimizing CRM workflows.
Experience supporting high-velocity sales motions with AI, automation, and GTM technologies.
Excellent communication skills across multiple disciplines, cultures, and geographies.
Demonstrated expertise in opportunity qualification, objection handling, and territory management.
Advanced Excel/Google Sheets and experience with BI tools (Tableau, Looker, etc.) for sales performance analysis.
Strong multitasking, project management, and time management skills.
Proficiency in English; additional languages a plus.
Salary Range
$116,000- $134,000
The salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as participation in bonus and equity award programs. EEO Statement
