This PE-backed platform is consolidating operations and hiring 2 driven Business Development Managers to scale revenue. We specialize in placing top-tier executives who drive financial growth, operational efficiency, and long-term value creation. The Opportunity This newly consolidated machining platform has strong operational capacity and low red tape. With a 42-person team under an experienced GM, the sites are primed for growth. The business serves industrial, aerospace, medical, and marine sectors, and is backed by a PE firm focused on operational excellence. You'll be the primary revenue driver, responsible for selling value-added metal products into both new and existing accounts, with full support from engineering, materials, and ops. Why This Role? Take the lead on new business generation (70% new / 30% existing) Sell into high-value, complex end markets with strong internal support Access cutting-edge manufacturing capabilities and fast quoting Work directly with a GM who gets sales and knows how to execute Be part of a platform scaling from $27M to $35M+ The BDM Role Own the full sales cycle: prospecting, quoting, closing Build and manage relationships with key engineering and procurement contacts Sell CNC machining, precision metalwork, welding, and assemblies Partner with the GM and VP of Sales to align sales strategy with site capabilities Navigate technical requirements and close long-term contracts Learning site capacity and understanding technical scope Positioning the shops unique strengths in a crowded market Delivering immediate impact while aligning to long-term growth targets Your Background Proven success in outside sales within CNC, machining, or metal fabrication Experience selling into medical, aerospace, defense, or marine industries Strong technical sales capabilities (comfortable with prints and specs) Independent, driven, and comfortable managing your own book of business Familiar with HubSpot, Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo (or similar tools) Who You Are Aggressive, proactive dealmaker who thrives in a fast-paced, low-red-tape environment Technical enough to speak confidently with engineers Strategic closer who knows how to turn a one-off job into long-term revenue Motivated by performance-based comp and building something meaningful Location: Based in or near Pittsburgh, PA and Chicago, IL #J-18808-Ljbffr
