Sales Manager - Your Job Duties
As a member of the strategic leadership team, you will both oversee the sales department (inbound sales calls from customers) and coach the technician field team:
Manage a team of 3 direct reports, providing daily oversight, managing and mentoring Oversee the inbound sales calls, assisting with escalated calls and conversions Identify opportunities to drive new inbound lead activity from both new and existing customers, leveraging the CRM and customer database Coach field technicians (service plumbers and electricians) on selling, customer rapport, and identifying customer needs Debrief sales appointments and deliver constructive coaching to improve conversions Develop and execute marketing strategies that increase inbound customer calls (including annual trade show presence, working with vendors) Track sales performance including department KPIs and metrics. Oversee lead generation, follow-up, and conversion activities. Provide feedback to the operations and service team regarding your observations and recommendations for improvement for expanding revenue opportunities through the field Analyze competitor offerings and market trends to adjust sales strategies. Develop and revise sales processes, scripts and checklists to meet sales metrics, including analyzing incentive programs and ongoing monitoring of KPIs Participate in community events representing the company brand Attend weekly leadership team meeting, bringing your ideas, insights and report on department operations Sales Manager - Your Qualifications You are relationship driven and live for making a "win" to convert an opportunity into a raving fan You have prior experience in sales, selling services to customers or overseeing a team that sells directly to residential customers You have experience converting opposition into opportunities You have experience with utilizing sales CRMs to log and track leads You have prior experience working in a trades or B2C service business (ie: plumbing, pest control, home security, solar, HVAC or related) (desired, not required)
You will work in the office in Burlingame, California and may also visit customers in the field or ride along with plumbing service technicians, as needed.

Your compensation will be $90,000 to $125,000 annually DOE, plus commission earnings, paid weekly for achieving sales objectives. OTE anticipated $180,000 to $300,000 based on annual sales goals.
