Washington Parent Media, the premier resource for parents in the Washington, D.C. area, is seeking a skilled Sales and Marketing Consultant to join our team and drive revenue growth through advertising sales and strategic partnerships. Position:Sales and Marketing Consultant Location:Washington D.C. Metro Area (Flexible/Remote Options) Flextime Work from home Generous commission structure Will receive established accounts Responsibilities: Maintain existing accounts. Identify and target potential advertisers, partners and sponsors to expand Washington Parent’s revenue streams. Develop and maintain strong relationships with businesses, schools, healthcare providers and family-focused organizations serving the DMV. Understand client needs and objectives to provide targeted marketing plans tailored to advertising and partnership solutions. Create compelling advertising proposals and campaigns. Actively research and stay current with industry trends to identify new opportunities for revenue growth. Attend family-friendly events and business networking opportunities to represent Washington Parent Media and its offerings. Qualifications: Some sales or other relevant experience is preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to negotiate and close deals effectively. Familiarity with the Washington, D.C.-area family and parenting market is a significant advantage. Self-motivated, goal-oriented and able to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously. Proficiency in digital communication tools and CRM software.
