Our busy hotel is looking for an exceptional director of sales and marketing to develop a revenue plan that maximizes profitability for daily sales in areas such as rooms, dining, catering, and events.


We need someone willing to be the brand's voice and manage the marketing budget to produce property-specific campaigns, promotions, and collateral that will generate revenue and meet property targets. Responsibilities:
  • Achieve sales team goals and yearly sales targets and plan and implement short and long-term marketing plans
  • Consult with sales managers and stakeholders to evaluate the company's performance
  • Utilize marketing campaigns, telemarketing, e-commerce, site visits, and other techniques to continuously seek new business
  • Evaluate market trends to determine pricing to balance costs, competition, and supply and demand
  • Prepare accurate and complete sales reports documenting marketing budgets, current market share, direct sales, and outline marketing plans
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5 or more years experience in sales and marketing with some experience in sales management
  • Strong understanding of marketing strategies and best practices
  • Computer skills are needed for this position, including knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
  • This position requires a high school diploma or GED, and a bachelor’s degree in marketing or hospitality being preferred
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
