Sales Member Services Specialist

Will be supporting the Medicare Advantage/Individual products sales teams. Will be fielding high-volume amount of phone calls, answering questions/supporting from scripted call-flow, and/or routing the call to the appropriate team member, inputting documentation (office/computer skills needed). May interact with members, (external) brokers, and other internal departments.
Experience: at minimum, 2/+ years health industry, health insurance, health benefits, marketing, sales, communications, product/program development, call center/heavy phones and/or related experience
Preferred Education: Bachelors Degree Business, Communications, Marketing, or related field; or equivalent work experience (Two years relevant work experience is equivalent to one year college)
Preferred Licenses/Certifications: State of Idaho Insurance License (life/health/disability)
Accountabilities:
Maintain knowledge of all individual products in portfolio.
Document and track all sales leads and follow-up activity in the lead tracking system.
Complete all applications and documentation required for internal processes in a timely and accurate manner to assure efficient enrollment of members.
Always comply with Code of Conduct and Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) regulations and marketing standards.
Assist in the promotion and participation in sales initiatives as well as community outreach related to the promotion of health awareness.
Support heavy phone calls volume; following call/workflow script while assisting caller with resolution and/or routing to appropriate team member for resolution.
Your day may look like:
Ensures membership goals are achieved by responding to calls, inquiries, referral follow-ups, education.
Maintains technical, regulatory product expertise and serves as a product resource for internal and external partners.
Act as liaison and advocate for internal sales and stakeholders.
May complete all applications and documentation required for internal processes to ensure enrollment of individuals.
May identify and coordinate process improvements efforts, trainings, communications, and/or product and sales tools and resources by collaborating with departments across the organization.
May be responsible for coordinating phone and email communications
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
