Responsibilities include but are not limited to: The Sales Operations Manager is responsible for driving operational efficiency and supporting the sales team to maximize productivity and revenue generation. This role involves developing and implementing strategic sales plans, managing territory assignments, and conducting market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive threats. The manager oversees critical processes such as discount approvals, deal reviews, customer contracting, and lead assignments, while ensuring data integrity and adherence to governance frameworks. They will identify opportunities for process improvement and automation, maintain sales technologies, and provide actionable insights through reports and dashboard analytics. Additionally, the Sales Operations Manager facilitates training and coaching for sales team members, designs content to enhance tech stack adoption, and supports the modeling of sales compensation plans. By aligning sales strategies, optimizing processes, and ensuring seamless collaboration across departments, this role drives efficiency, enhances decision-making, and contributes to achieving organizational revenue goals. Qualifications: A strong candidate for this role should demonstrate expertise in sales strategies, territory management, and data governance coupled with excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. Proficiency in CRM software, such as Salesforce and other sales tools, is essential, along with a solid understanding of Microsoft Excel PivotTables and fluency in Google Suite applications such as Gmail and Google Drive. The ideal individual is self-motivated, organized, and capable of working independently. A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred. However, equivalent experience will also be considered. The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of experience in a similar position and 2+ years in sales support, sales operations, sales, IT, deal desk, or operations roles. Additionally, the candidate must be willing to travel at least 10% of the time as needed. Target Base Salary Range: $90,000 - $100,000 USD Consistent with Motorola Solutions values and applicable law, we provide the following information to promote pay transparency and equity. Pay within this range varies and depends on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The actual offer will be based on the individual candidate.
