Arthrex is actively seeking a Sales & Operations Planning Analyst II who will provide analysis for all aspects of strategic, long-range planning decision-making; working cross-functionally with Supply, Demand, Sales and Finance teams. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Serve as a point of contact regarding S&OP analysis and reporting
Facilitate the monthly S&OP process for specific product groups
Gather required raw data for forecasting, planning, and operations management
Create, maintain, and improve S&OP databases housing required information
Participate in the preparation and analysis of a business process to translate the annual sales plan into a sales budget in units that can be used to drive supply chain activity for existing and new products
Create and maintain month and year-end reporting to be shared with Finance, Sales, Marketing, and Strategic Business Unit leaders to evaluate forecasts vs. actual sales (volume, trends, and mix)
Create, prepare, and publish daily, weekly, and monthly reporting metrics supporting the business lines
Promptly and accurately respond to ad hoc reporting requests
Review data and reports to ensure accuracy and completeness
Assist in the development of new and/or improved tools to ensure timely measurement, reporting, and visibility to Product Supply status to all cross-functional stakeholders
Education/Experience:
Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Business, Finance or Supply Chain
2 years of analysis in S&OP, Supply Chain, demand or inventory experience required
Experience in S&OP functional area within the Medical Device or similar industry is a plus
Skills:
Excellent Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel
Cognos and SAP experience preferred
Power BI experience is a plus
Basic knowledge of an S&OP functional area
Experience generating semi-complex financial or inventory-related analysis
Excellent communication, both written and verbal
Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical staff.
Knowledge:
Frequent use and general knowledge of industry practices, techniques, and standards. General application of concepts and principles.
Reasoning Ability:
Provides routine analysis and solves routine problems following established policies and procedures; references policies, practices, and other analyses for additional guidance.
Discretion/ Latitude:
Works under very general supervision. Work is reviewed for soundness of judgment and overall adequacy and accuracy.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to comprehend and apply mathematical principles to the degree required to perform the job based upon job requirements.
Language and Communication Skills:
Ability to comprehend and apply language skills to the degree required to perform the job based upon the job requirements listed above. Ability to verbally communicate ideas and issues effectively to other team members and management. Ability to write and record data and information as required by procedures.
