We are seeking an experienced Business Development Representative to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for selling primary and ancillary communications solutions to small and medium sized businesses within a specified territory.
Job Description The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in outside sales, with a strong understanding of communications technologies and services. They will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
In this role, you will be responsible for generating all sales leads through a variety of prospecting tactics and working every lead from initial contact to sale. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records of all sales and prospecting activities, including sales calls, presentations, closed sales, and follow-up activities within assigned territory.
Required Skills and Qualifications Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
Knowledge of communications technologies and services, with an emphasis on telephone and Internet fundamentals
Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record
Bachelor's degree in business, marketing or related field, or equivalent experience
