Overview:
District Sales Managers - Phone Zone will have territorial responsibility for Remote Contact Dealers in the Region representing OEM Brand. You will act as a consultant to the dealers by working together with them on the development and implementation of their business plans. You will be working directly with the dealers and will be involved in a variety of activities including implementation and development of marketing initiatives, customer retention, product displays, financial analysis, market analysis and training.
Responsibilities:
Facilitating, coaching and consulting with dealers to ensure monthly / yearly sales objectives are met as well as accomplishing other dealership goals
Manage dealer compliance of OEM programs and administer OEM policies and procedures
Assist in implementing dealer level digital marketing and advertising campaigns
Work to improve retail website performance and increase lead generating activities
Analyze dealer sales, local market conditions (sales, registration data, dealer effectiveness, lost sales) and competition to identify specific sales opportunities
Conduct sales and training activities including remote contact customer meetings monthly
Knowledge of all OEM products, services, customer demographics or profiles, and competitive automotive makes and models
Assist in dealer and customer problem resolution
Coach dealer on customer retention, satisfaction and dealership loyalty
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree
ENTRY LEVEL but 2+ years in sales and customer service preferred
The ability to balance competing priorities while maintaining effectiveness
Excellent oral and written communication skills that involves understanding the audience; getting the message across; presenting information effectively; and communicating openly
Excellent time management skills - the ability to effectively and efficiently use your time to focus on the most impactful activities
Ability to build strong relationships
Ability to influence business partners
Wide latitude for independent actions, including significant independent judgment
Skilled in the use of Microsoft Word and Excel
Computer skills to develop, maintain, and analyze data
