1 | SUMMARY OF FUNCTIONS:
At Excel Equipment, the Heavy Equipment Sales Representative plays a vital role in driving equipment sales revenue by developing and maintaining strong customer relationships, identifying equipment needs & opportunities, and providing exceptional service as a solution provider. This position requires a motivated, results-driven professional with a passion for the heavy equipment industry and a commitment to exceeding customer expectations.

2 | MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Customer Development & Relationship Management:

• Proactively identify and engage new and existing customers to promote solutions.
• Build and maintain long-term relationships to secure repeat business and referrals.
• Provide consultative guidance on equipment selection based on customer needs.

Sales Execution:

• Develop and execute sales strategies to meet and exceed equipment sales revenue targets.
• Prepare quotes, negotiate terms, and close deals efficiently.
• Collaborate with the operations team to ensure timely delivery and pick-up of equipment.

Market & Territory Management:

• Manage an assigned sales territory to maximize sales penetration.
• Research market trends, competitor activities, and customers need to identify growth opportunities.
• Attend trade shows, industry events, and networking functions to represent Excel Equipment.

Administrative Duties:

• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales opportunities, and potential rental transaction opportunities in the sales management software program.
• Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for management review.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, pricing structures, and sales agreements.

While the above outlines the position, additional duties may and will be assigned as needed in support of our Company.

3 | ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS:
Reports directly to our Branch Manager. In addition, this position must be able to support all other departments as needed to support our customers’ experience and meeting their expectations.
