Responsibilities
  • Meet new business production goals and objectives as established.
  • Develop insurance quotes, make sales presentations, and close sales.
  • Immediately greet all customers, entering the office, in a friendly and helpful manner.
  • Thoroughly understand and follow all underwriting, rating and compliance requirements.
  • Maintain knowledge of new products and services.
  • Prospecting and generating new business through leads & referral sources.
  • Generating insurance quotes.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support.
  • Be outstanding at relationship building.
  • Develop and maintain client relationships.
  • Call prospective customers by operating VOIP telephones, automatic dialing systems, and other internet technologies.
  • Cold call, direct email and perform other lead generation activities.
  • Informs customers of promotions and new or upgraded products using prepared scripts.
  • Follow up with customers to assure satisfaction, respond to queries, solicit further sales, and solve or refer problems.
  • Maintains phone time or sales quotas as determined by management.
  • Foster strong relationships with our customers to maintain a high level of client retention and product loyalty.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry market trends and best practices.
  • Assess and identify the wants and needs of your customer(s) over the phone.
  • Attend industry events to network and build relationships.
  • Participate in regular team meetings and brainstorming sessions.
  • Attend training and continuing education courses.

Requirements

Experience: Previous experience in sales or a related field is advantageous.

Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication abilities.

Customer Focus: Demonstrated ability to prioritize customer needs and provide excellent service.

Motivation: Self-driven and motivated to achieve sales targets and goals.

Networking Skills: Ability to build and maintain successful client relationships.

Adaptability: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while effectively managing time and resources.

License: Property & Casaulty or LIfe & Health Insurance Licenses are nice to have, but we can assist you in getting both of these if you don't have them yet!
