We sell eco-friendly, custom-printed paper bags at factory prices for businesses.
We're looking for a friendly, self-motivated Sales Representative to join our team and grow our business on Long Island's South Shore. This part-time, field-based role involves door-to-door visits to local shops like delis, gift shops, restaurants, liquor stores, and boutiques.
If you're outgoing and eager to succeed, you'll earn an hourly wage plus commission.
Responsibilities
Conduct daily door-to-door outreach to restaurants, cafés, delis, markets, and similar food businesses and retailers
Pitch our custom takeout bag solution with clear value messaging
Keep organized logs of each business visited, contact person, and outcome
Track all visits, mileage, and follow-ups in Google Sheets
Collaborate with the company owner (initial personalized training provided)
Report daily progress and updates via Google Docs/Sheets
Requirements
Must know with Google Docs and Excel
Reliable transportation and comfort with local travel
Friendly, confident communication style
Organized and consistent with follow-up
Prior sales experience is a plus, but not required — we’ll train the right candidate
Must be legally eligible to work in the U.S
Compensation
We offer a flexible 20-hour week, direct mentorship, and a product that sells itself. Monday-Friday
Hourly base plus commission
Mileage reimbursement for all customer visits
Direct mentorship and sales support from the company founder
Travel reimbursement
Salary/Compensation: $20.00 per hour plus commission
