Meat Team Member Job Description We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our meat team as a key member. This role is responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and supporting the success of our business. Key Responsibilities: Support the meat department with duties related to counter service, stocking, and sanitation. Ensure a positive company image by providing courteous, friendly, and efficient service to customers and colleagues. Maintain back stock in good order, assist with sampling programs, and keep sample areas clean and appealing. Perform opening, mid, and closing duties as assigned, ensuring accuracy of signs and pricing. Immediately report safety hazards and violations. Required Skills and Qualifications: Ability to sell proactively and maintain a high level of product knowledge. Effective communication skills to deliver information clearly and respectfully. Ability to meet customer service expectations and standards. Ability to follow directions and procedures, with effective time management and organization skills. Physical Requirements/Working Conditions: Must be able to lift 50 pounds. Standing/walking for 6-8 hours in an 8-hour workday. Exposure to temperatures: 90°F. Ability to work in a wet and cold environment. Ability to handle knives and other cutting equipment. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
