Description DESCRIPTION As a Sales Support Lead at Dylan’s Candy Bar, you will support store operations by ensuring efficient inventory management and maintaining a clean, organized, and functional store environment. This role involves accepting shipments, managing the stockroom, replenishing sales floor inventory, and performing basic store maintenance tasks. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and passionate about keeping the store running smoothly behind the scenes. Stock Room Operations: Accept, verify, and organize incoming shipments, ensuring accuracy against purchase orders. Manage the stockroom layout, maintaining a clean, organized, and accessible storage area. Ensure timely and efficient stock replenishment on the sales floor, keeping displays full and visually appealing. Conduct regular inventory counts, reporting discrepancies and assisting with physical inventory processes. Tag and label incoming merchandise appropriately and ensure proper rotation of products based on store needs. Store Maintenance: Perform basic store maintenance tasks, ensuring the stockroom and sales floor remain clean, organized, and operational. Monitor and report equipment issues or store repair needs to the Retail Operations & Inventory Lead. Ensure store cleanliness, including common areas, back-of-house spaces, and fixtures. Operational Support: Support the sales floor team by replenishing products during business hours to maintain optimal stock levels. Assist with store setups, visual merchandising, and special projects as needed. Follow all health and safety guidelines, ensuring compliance with local, city, and state standards. EXPERIENCE, SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE Experience in retail stockroom operations, inventory management, or a similar role preferred. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to maintain accurate stock levels. Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with store and leadership teams. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds occasionally and 30 pounds frequently, as well as climb stairs to and from the stockroom Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays. Familiarity with Dylan’s Candy Bar products, history, and brand standards is a plus.
