Are you a proactive and detail-oriented professional with a passion for customer service in sales and operations support? We're seeking a Sales Support Specialist to play a key role in maintaining strong customer relationships while assisting the sales team in driving business growth.
About the Role
As a Sales Support Specialist, you will have a dual responsibility:
- Customer Service: Providing high-quality support to customers by managing inquiries, processing orders, and ensuring satisfaction.
- Sales Assistance: Strategically supporting the sales team in acquiring new customers while maintaining existing accounts.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service via phone and email, addressing inquiries and resolving issues proactively.
- Process and manage orders received by phone, email, and fax using the Chempax system.
- Build and maintain relationships with customers, educating them on new products and services to drive sales.
- Support sales representatives by identifying new leads and assisting in the sales process.
- Collaborate with site personnel, suppliers, and carriers to coordinate shipments and deliveries.
- Generate and analyze reports to support decision-making and improve processes.
- Identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements to enhance operations.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions to foster collaboration and growth.
- Additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of two years in customer service or sales support roles in an industrial or manufacturing organization.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with office equipment.
