Sales Support Specialist (Inside Sales)




About the Role

Do you thrive on keeping things organized, supporting fast-moving teams, and making sure customers get what they need—when they need it? We’re looking for a Sales Support Specialist to join our team and be the backbone of our sales operations. In this role, you’ll process sales orders, prepare quotes, update CRM records, and ensure our sales team has the tools and information to deliver excellent customer service.

This is a hands-on role where accuracy, organization, and responsiveness make all the difference.


What You’ll Do


  • Process Sales Orders (50%) – Enter and verify customer orders with speed and accuracy to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Sales Administration (20%) – Provide day-to-day support for the sales department including quotes, data entry, and CRM updates.
  • Outside Sales Support (15%) – Partner with our outside sales team to prepare customer quotes, run sales reports, and keep things moving.
  • Sales Reporting (5%) – Deliver clear and timely reports to help the team make data-driven decisions.
  • Customer Care – Respond to customer requests for order confirmations, lead times, and delivery updates—keeping communication smooth and professional.
  • Cross-Team Collaboration – Work with purchasing, operations, and vendors to get accurate information, confirm delivery dates, and share updates.


What We’re Looking For


  • At least 2+ years in a professional role (administrative, customer service, or sales support preferred).
  • Customer service mindset—you know how to keep people informed and satisfied.
  • Tech-savvy with ERP and CRM systems (Salesforce experience a plus).
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to juggle multiple tasks without missing a beat.
  • Strong communicator and natural team player who thrives in a collaborative environment.
