Sales Support Specialist

Indigo Signs is an innovative custom sign company that designs, manufactures, installs, and services high quality signs. We are seeking a Sales Support Specialist to join our Fargo ND team of collaborative sign professionals.
The primary role for this position is to support the Sales Team on all aspects of project management and customer service including assisting the sales representatives in managing projects from signed contract through all phases up to project invoicing. The Sales Support Specialist will work closely with the sales teams as well as our internal teams to facilitate communication and timeliness of the entire project process. Once a project is completed the Sales Support Specialist will verify accuracy of completion, provide customers completion photos and any required forms, and will verify customer is satisfied with the project to ensure Indigo Signs met commitment and payment is approved by the customer.
Essential Functions
- Build sustainable relationships and trust with customer accounts through open and interactive communication
- Collaborate on inquiries and requests from Sales Rep's, internal teams and customers
- Identify and assess customers' needs to achieve satisfaction
- Become proficient in use of Mothernode CRM software
- Maintain accuracy and efficiency in all aspects of job
- Demonstrate Indigo Signs' core values
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment with people of varying skills and backgrounds
- Proven customer service and/or sales support experience
- Highly motivated, self-directed individual who is able to work in a team or by oneself
- Familiarity with CRM systems and practices helpful
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and/or Smartsheet extremely helpful
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
- Knowledge of sign manufacturing is a plus
Requirements
Required Qualifications
- 1+ years' experience in a Customer Service role or similar client facing role
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office products
- Must successfully pass a criminal background check and drug test
Work Environment
- This is a traditional in-office position. There may be opportunity to work in hybrid environment
