Key Responsibilities: Maintain a clean and visually appealing workspace by ensuring product quality, replenishing stock, rotating products, and performing other duties as assigned. Assist with maintaining back stock in good order. Support the sampling program by keeping sample areas full, clean, and appealing. Clean cases, glass, signs, uprights, coolers, smokers, floors, and drains as required. Provide excellent customer service by addressing needs promptly and modeling suggestive selling techniques. Maximize sales potential through effective procedures for prepping, storing, rotating, stocking, and merchandising products. Adhere to established health and safety protocols, including cleanliness and sanitation standards. Maintain a clean and sanitary working environment, adhering to equipment maintenance standards. Perform opening, mid, and closing duties as assigned, ensuring accuracy of signs and pricing. Report safety hazards and violations immediately. Perform other duties as assigned by leadership. Physical Requirements/Working Conditions: Ability to lift 50 pounds. In an 8-hour workday: standing/walking 6-8 hours. Hand use: single grasping, fine manipulation, pushing, and pulling. Work requires bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching. Exposure to FDA-approved cleaning chemicals. Exposure to temperatures: 90 degrees Fahrenheit. Ability to work in a wet and cold environment. Ability to handle knives and other cutting equipment. Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed. Ability to use tools and equipment, including box cutters, electric pallet jacks, and other heavy machinery.
