Your Home Improvement Company - Selling Sales Manager As the Selling Sales Manager (SSM), you will be responsible for driving sales performance and achieving metrics within the branch. This role involves hiring and managing a team of Sales Representatives, assigning leads, providing on-the-ground coaching, and resolving customer issues. The SSM will foster a high-energy, results-oriented environment to maximize branch productivity and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities
• Achieve and exceed branch sales targets and performance metrics, including but not limited to staffing, yield and net bookings. • Hire, manage, train, mentor, and motivate Sales Representatives to enhance their sales skills and overall performance. • Assign leads to Sales Representatives based on experience and territory, ensuring equitable distribution for maximum effectiveness. • Conduct ride-alongs with Sales Representatives to provide real-time coaching, feedback, and support. • Oversee and facilitate cleanup of customer holds and resolve issues with upset customers, ensuring a positive resolution. • Analyze sales data and performance metrics to identify trends, opportunities for improvement, and areas for coaching. • Organize and lead regular sales meetings to discuss performance, share best practices, and foster team collaboration. • Collaborate with marketing and operations teams to ensure alignment with branch goals and customer needs. • Other Duties as assigned by Territory Sales Manager. Qualifications
Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities: • Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate sales personnel. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal. • Proven track record of achieving sales goals and metrics. • In-depth knowledge of sales techniques, customer relationship management, and territory management. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data effectively. • Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools. • Ability to adapt coaching styles to meet the diverse needs of Sales Representatives. Education and Experience: • Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales management or a similar role, with a demonstrated record of success. • Experience in direct sales and team leadership is highly preferred. Physical Requirements: • Ability to travel within the branch territory, including conducting ride-alongs with Sales Representatives. • Must be able to operate standard office equipment and engage in extensive verbal communication. • Ability to sit for extended periods and perform tasks in various environments, including on-site customer visits.
