This role is eligible for our hybrid work model: Two days in-office.
Whether it's hotels, rental cars, flights, cruises or packages, our Lines of Business develop the relationships we need to generate great deals and then get them to Priceline customers - so they can experience all the moments that matter to them.
Why this job's a big deal:
As a Senior Business Development Manager, you're at the heart of driving the company's future growth in the ultra-competitive travel sector. This role is a unique opportunity to make a direct, visible impact on regional revenue by acquiring high-value partnerships and expanding the company's footprint among key industry players.
You'll serve as a trusted representative of the brand, representing the organization at industry events and shaping how it's perceived among partners, customers, and competitors alike. This position puts you at the crossroads of strategy and execution, giving you a stake in shaping product direction, customer experience, and go-to-market plans-while also delivering real, measurable results.
What makes the role truly compelling is the level of responsibility and cross-functional influence: you'll manage the full business development cycle, collaborate cross-functionally with diverse teams, and lead major commercial deals from first contact through to onboarding and transition. You'll leverage your network, industry insights, analytical skills, and creativity to solve complex challenges and capture new opportunities in a fast-moving environment.
In this role you will get to:
- Acquire and build relationships with new high-value partners in the travel sector, growing your professional network and strengthening the company's market position.
- Drive regional sales growth by managing the entire business development lifecycle, from initial prospecting to final account onboarding.
- Represent the brand at industry events, helping increase market share and build a positive presence in the marketplace.
- Stay at the forefront of industry trends and the competitive landscape.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams spanning product, customer service, finance, and marketing, giving you broad exposure and influence within the organization.
- Oversee and lead complex bidding processes to secure large business opportunities, strengthening your strategic and deal management skills.
- Ensure new clients experience a smooth transition and seamless onboarding prior to handover, contributing to exceptional customer satisfaction.
- Use your analytical and negotiation skills to solve commercial challenges and craft tailored solutions in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Maintain responsibility over your portfolio and activities, planning and prioritizing sales efforts to meet client deadlines and deliver results.
Who you are:
- A results-oriented business development professional with a passion for building meaningful partner relationships in the travel sector. With significant experience in B2B sales, you thrive on the challenge of acquiring new, high-value accounts and consistently exceeding ambitious revenue targets.
- You have a deep understanding of the travel, hospitality, or bed bank landscape, leveraging a strong professional network. Your strategic mindset helps you spot commercial opportunities ahead of the curve, while your hands-on approach ensures effective execution from prospecting to onboarding.
- You enjoy championing your organization's brand and can connect with stakeholders at all levels, both internally and externally. You're equally comfortable leading complex deal negotiations, problem-solving in real time, or collaborating cross-functionally with product, customer service, finance, and marketing teams to develop solutions that deliver real value.
- Analytically minded and highly organized, you expertly prioritize and juggle multiple projects within fast-paced environments, always meeting deadlines and delivering results. Above all, you're a proactive team player recognized for your integrity, professionalism, and unwavering commitment to customer satisfaction.
- Illustrated history of living the values necessary to Priceline: Customer, Innovation, Team, Accountability and Trust.
- The Right Results, the Right Way is not just a motto at Priceline; it's a way of life. Unquestionable integrity and ethics is essential.
There are a variety of factors that go into determining a salary range, including but not limited to external market benchmark data, geographic location, and years of experience sought/required. In addition to a competitive base salary, certain roles may be eligible for an annual bonus and/or equity grant.
The salary range for this position is $115,000-$145,000.
