Director / Senior Director of Sales Operations Location: Hybrid — Long Beach, CA (In-office Tuesday through Thursday; Remote Monday and Friday) Overview Laserfiche is seeking a Director / Senior Director of Sales Operations to lead, optimize, and scale the sales operations of our U.S.-based direct sales organization. This senior leadership role is responsible for driving operational excellence, strategic planning, forecasting, and process optimization across our enterprise SaaS sales channels. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader who blends strategic insight with analytical rigor , enabling the sales organization to operate efficiently and exceed revenue and margin goals. Partnering closely with the VP of Sales and other senior executives, this role will influence sales strategy, improve pipeline velocity, and ensure organizational alignment with company growth objectives. Key Responsibilities Sales Strategy & Planning Lead and manage the direct sales organization with clear goals, performance metrics, and accountability.
Develop and execute SaaS sales strategies to scale revenue, optimize sales productivity, and enhance delivery performance.
Collaborate with executive leadership to establish sales goals and revenue targets.
Oversee territory planning, pipeline analysis, and forecasting to ensure data-driven decision-making.
Generate and interpret key performance indicators (KPIs), providing actionable insights to guide leadership decisions.
Mentor and develop high-performing leaders and teams, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Operations & Process Optimization Design, implement, and refine sales processes, systems, and policies to drive efficiency.
Optimize CRM utilization (Salesforce) and ensure data integrity, accuracy, and adoption.
Standardize performance dashboards and reporting aligned with SaaS best practices.
Build a scalable, data-driven operational framework to support sustainable revenue growth.
Revenue & Performance Management Support development and management of sales targets while tracking team and individual performance.
Monitor win rates, sales cycles, and churn metrics, identifying opportunities for improvement.
Recommend and execute strategies to shorten deal cycles and enhance conversion rates.
Oversee best practices in deal structuring and resource allocation.
Deliver comprehensive reporting and insights to the VP of Sales and executive leadership to inform strategic decisions.
Cross-Functional Leadership Align sales operations with Professional Services, Finance, and Marketing to ensure seamless customer experiences and business scalability.
Partner with Finance on incentive compensation design and administration.
Collaborate with Product and Marketing teams to ensure go-to-market strategies align with business and customer objectives.
Facilitate smooth transitions between pre-sales, onboarding, and post-sales teams to maximize customer success and retention.
Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
10+ years in Sales Operations or Sales Leadership within a SaaS organization.
Proven success leading direct and channel sales with measurable revenue growth.
Expertise in SaaS sales operations including forecasting, pipeline management, and sales enablement.
Strong financial acumen and analytical ability to model and communicate complex business data.
Proficiency with Salesforce and analytics tools (Power BI experience preferred).
Exceptional leadership, communication, and executive presentation skills.
Compensation Salary Range: $195,000 – $250,000 per year Compensation is determined by several factors including experience, education, certifications, and geographic location. Perks & Benefits Generous Paid Time Off: 15 Vacation Days
