Responsibilities Develop and execute comprehensive strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and increase market share in targeted categories Collaborate with the executive team to align sales strategies with overall business goals Lead the development of category-specific sales forecasts, budgets, and performance metrics Oversee the category analytics team in analyzing sales data, market trends, and customer insights to identify growth opportunities Utilize advanced analytics tools to generate actionable insights that inform sales strategies Develop customer segmentation models and targeted sales approaches based on data-driven insights Provide strong leadership to the sales team, setting objectives, performance metrics, and expectations Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and accountability within the sales organization Mentor and develop sales team members through coaching and support Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, product development, and operations to ensure alignment of sales strategies with product offerings and market positioning Lead cross-functional initiatives to improve customer experience and optimize sales processes Work with sales and marketing to develop pricing strategies, promotional initiatives, and go-to-market plans Stay informed of industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies in the categories of focus Conduct market analysis and competitive intelligence to identify opportunities and threats Translate market insights into actionable strategies to enhance competitive position Prepare and present regular sales performance reports and recommendations to the executive team Develop and implement product sell-in strategies with retail partners Influence the future product roadmap to ensure profitable YoY growth Approach problems with a winning mindset and ensure go-to-market and product roadmaps support growth and profitability Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or related field; Master’s degree preferred Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in strategic sales management, analytics, or related field, with at least 5 years in a leadership role Experience managing a global outdoor business category strongly preferred Demonstrated success in developing and executing strategic sales plans that drive revenue growth and market share Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and sales analytics tools (e.g., CRM systems, Salesforce) Experience developing customer segmentation models, pricing strategies, and promotional initiatives based on data analysis Exceptional leadership and communication skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a sales team Proven track record of building and leading high-performing sales teams Strategic thinker with the ability to translate data into actionable initiatives Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment and manage multiple priorities effectively Our Culture and Benefits SharkNinja values diversity, equity, and inclusion and aims to empower employees to bring their authentic selves to work.
