Responsibilities Achieves and maintains a high occupancy percentage. Maintains the sales tracking system for the community and informs the General Manager (GM) and Director of Sales of trends. Works with the GM and Director of Marketing to ensure accurate reporting of community census via the integrated CRM/accounting system (Yardi). Manages the entire sales process: building a prospect base, responding to inquiries, generating tours, following up, and securing deposits for move-ins. Assist in transitioning the move-in process to the GM, Assisted Living Supervisor/Director, and other department heads upon receipt of deposit and move-in date. Develops and implements innovative sales/marketing plans and community outreach to generate leads and build a positive reputation. Collaborates with Marketing for feedback on media advertising, sponsorships, and other opportunities. Coordinates with Activities Director and Executive Chef for events that benefit residents and attract potential residents. Conducts competitive shops and submits reports to the Seattle office (minimum twice per year). Remains informed about direct competitors and communicates changes to leadership and partners. Provides promotional recommendations and positions Merrill Gardens in alignment with corporate vision and mission. Tracks and maintains the community marketing budget for events and outreach. Acts as Acting General Manager if assigned.
Qualifications Four-year degree in Business, Business Administration, Marketing, Public Relations or Communications preferred. Three-plus years of sales and marketing experience, preferably in a related field.
