Senior Manager of Inside Sales
FleetPride is the nation's largest distributor of truck and trailer parts and service in the independent heavy-duty aftermarket. As we invest in modernizing how we go to market, we're launching a brand-new Inside Sales functionand the Senior Manager of Inside Sales will lead this strategic initiative. Duties & Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
- Team Buildout & Leadership: Lead the launch and expansion of FleetPride's first-ever inside sales team. Recruit top talent, shape team structure, and instill a high-performance, high-accountability culture focused on proactive outbound selling.
- Sales Execution & Strategy: Partner with senior commercial leaders to execute FleetPride's inside sales strategy, aligning daily activities to company growth goals.
- Hiring & Onboarding: Build and implement a structured hiring and onboarding plan for all inside sales roles. Ensure new team members ramp quickly and align with FleetPride's customer-first values.
- Training, Coaching & Performance Management: Deliver high-impact sales training, conduct role plays, coach through live calls, and monitor performance metrics (calls, conversions, pipeline, revenue). Provide ongoing feedback and structured development plans for team members.
- Sales Process Design & Optimization: Create scalable sales processes, call cadences, objection handling frameworks, and CRM workflows. Continuously refine outreach techniques and performance tracking methods.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with field sales, marketing, product, and branch operations to ensure alignment of customer strategy and handoff processes. Represent the inside sales function in cross-functional planning discussions.
- Technology & Tools Enablement: Leverage sales technology (CRM, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, call intelligence tools, etc.) to enable pipeline development and rep productivity. Partner with IT to improve system utilization and reporting.
- Pipeline & Forecasting Accountability: Own team pipeline creation and sales forecasting. Establish KPIs and dashboards to drive transparency and performance.
- Customer Experience & Retention: Ensure consistent, high-quality customer interactions from the inside sales team that support brand reputation and foster long-term loyalty.
Supervisory Responsibility:
- Direct oversight of 1020 Inside Sales Representatives, Team Leads, or Supervisors
- Responsible for recruiting, onboarding, and developing the full inside sales function
Education & Training
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or a related field required.
Knowledge & Experience
- 5+ years of progressive B2B sales experience, with at least 3 years in an inside sales leadership role (manager or director level)
- Proven success building and scaling new inside sales or SDR teams in industrial, distribution, or logistics sectors
- Experience working with CRM systems (preferably Salesforce or equivalent) and outbound sales enablement tools
- Deep understanding of sales funnel management and performance metrics

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a bias toward action
- Prior experience collaborating with field sales and marketing to align GTM strategy
