This position is a virtual position to be located within the Western Cornbelt.
This role leads a Retail Sales team within the Western Cornbelt region. The team is responsible for demand generation and sales of Performance and Bioscience products within a defined geography.
What will you do?
Manage demand generation, sales customer training, marketing and business development efforts to grow our Performance Products and Bioscience business in assigned territory.
Managing the Retails Sales team as their people manager.Develop retail sales managers/ specialists through coaching, mentoring and leadership.Conduct ongoing employee development discussions.Approve travel, manage spending approvals, oversee budgets for direct reports.Coordinate execution of marketing plans with Retail Sales Managers and broader team and marketing.Provide leadership in areas of focus and differentiation for Mosaic to align our sales growth targets with our core principles.
Participating in Sales Leadership and Strategic Planning along with other special projects.
Participation in Mosaic meetings (RSM, Region, National, Forums, Ag College, etc.).
What do you need for this role?
Bachelor's degree required with major in Business, Agriculture, Agronomy, Marketing preferred
Master's degree preferred
Ag Business or Agronomy
Certified Crop Advisor preferred
10+ years of experience in fertilizer/biologics inputs business, if Mosaic experience then 7+ years required
5+ years of leadership experience
Excellent communication and people skills.
Project management experience.
Proven change management experience.
Continual learner mindset.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products, Outlook and Salesforce
Ability to manage/interact with data in Excel.
Travel: 50-60%
