The Tampa Bay Rays are seeking a passionate, committed and energetic leader to hire, train and manage the Ticket Sales staff including full-time Account Executives and seasonal Ticket Sales Representatives.

Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Manage the Ticket Sales team’s efforts to sell season memberships, groups, party areas and suites
  2. Ensure a culture of accountability, positivity and continuous improvement within the Ticket Sales department
  3. Maximize the use of CRM for tracking and reporting
  4. Coordinate campaign and pipeline management with the Business Strategy & Analytics department
  5. Develop processes to enhance the department’s operations
  6. Maintain reports tracking KPIs on organizational, departmental and individual levels
  7. Coach and mentor the sales staff
  8. Support staff on calls, appointments and ballpark tours

Qualifications

  1. Three (3) years full-time experience managing an Inside Sales Department, Ticket Sales Department or the equivalent
  2. Five (5) years ticket sales experience that required CRM use to track activity
  3. College degree – BA/BS or equivalent experience
  4. Experience recruiting, hiring and training sales representatives
  5. Cross-collaboration with Marketing and Analytics departments
  6. Strong communication skills including written, verbal and interpersonal
  7. Enjoy working in a team environment
  8. Prefer experience with Salesforce (CRM) and ProVenue (ticketing system)
  9. Outstanding work ethic and attention to detail
  10. Proficient computer skills including products such as Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams and Zoom
  11. Ability to work non-traditional hours including weekends and holidays
