Senior Manager
We are seeking a Senior Manager with 57 years of experience in digital media, agency partnerships, or non/near-endemic advertising strategy to join the Sam's Club Member Access Platform (MAP) team. Reporting to a Team Lead, you will drive incremental ad revenue by expanding MAP's presence beyond traditional Shopper Marketing, partnering with agency networks, non-endemic advertisers, and third-party platforms. You will be a key player in diversifying our advertiser base and leading revenue-generating partnerships with organizations like The Trade Desk, Pacvue, Flywheel, WPP and Omnicom.
What You Will Do...
- Develop and own a portfolio of agency and non-/near-endemic partners, developing and executing sales strategies to exceed revenue goals.
- Unlock incremental ad budgets by crafting go-to-market plans that expand MAP's reach across new categories, including services, retail adjacents, and emerging brands.
- Serve as a consultative partner to agencies and advertisers, building cross-functional account plans that maximize MAP's media solutionssponsored search, display, social, CTV, and in-club activations.
- Lead joint business planning with third-party platforms, ensuring technical and commercial alignment for scaled activation.
- Support partner enablement by educating stakeholders on MAP's measurement, targeting, and inventory innovations.
- Represent MAP in industry and partner-facing events to elevate our position in the broader agency and ad tech ecosystem.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders (Sales, Marketing, Product, Merchants, and Operations) to drive campaign execution and partner success.
- Respond to RFPs with strategic, objective-led solutions tailored to non-endemic business goals.

- Proactively identify whitespace opportunities to grow revenue and diversify our advertiser base.
- Deliver measurable impact by exceeding sales targets and optimizing cross-channel performance.
- Bring thought leadership to the evolving retail media landscapeinternally and externally.
- Leverage data-driven insights and client feedback to influence MAP's product and partnership roadmap.
What You'll Bring...
- 57 years of experience in digital advertising, agency partnerships, retail media, or programmatic platform sales.
- 3+ years managing strategic relationships with agencies, ad tech partners, or non-endemic advertisers.
- Strong understanding of the digital media landscape, including DSPs, retail media networks, and omnichannel activation.
- Proven success in delivering revenue growth and leading complex partner programs.
- Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills with a demonstrated ability to influence at all levels, including C-suite.
- Experience with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce), sales forecasting, and strategic account planning.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, matrixed environment with cross-functional accountability.
- A passion for helping brands reach new audiences and drive performance through innovation.
Minimum Qualifications...
Option 1: Bachelor's degree in business, finance, marketing and sales, advertising, or related area and 4 years' experience in business development, market development, or related area. Option 2: 6 years' experience in business development, market development, or related area.
