Summary The Senior Rental Sales Representative plays a critical role as the primary sales agent for renting vehicles to both existing lease customers and new commercial rental clients. You will provide support at high-volume rental locations and collaborate across Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Asset Management, leveraging outstanding customer communication skills. Location: Nashville, TN Hours: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Schedule: Monday to Friday Hourly | Paid Weekly! Hear from our team! This is Ryder: Essential Functions Sales & Marketing: Manage inbound sales requests and proactively reach out to potential clients. Implement the business unit's marketing strategies, maintain up-to-date marketing database, and nurture relationships with existing customers to drive rental, lease, and vehicle sales leads. Operations & Asset Management: Oversee the profitability and operations of the rental location, ensuring top-level customer satisfaction in compliance with all regulations and market conditions. Customer Relations: Foster and grow customer relationships, addressing any concerns to ensure satisfaction and business continuity. Communication: Build effective relationships internally and externally, effectively articulating Ryder's services. Additional Responsibilities Manage daily operations including opening and closing the rental office, completing rental agreements, and responding to inquiries professionally. Coordinate with Maintenance staff for vehicle servicing and repairs. Assist in leading and mentoring junior staff. Voluntarily perform the role of On-Call Representative based on scheduling needs. Execute any other duties as assigned. Skills and Abilities Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Strong goal orientation and drive for results, with the ability to operate effectively amidst ambiguity. High initiative and self-motivation. Detail-oriented with multitasking capabilities, adapting to evolving priorities. Ability to cultivate professional relationships across various organizational levels. Proficiency in delivering exemplary customer service. Qualifications High School diploma or GED required. Minimum of one (1) year sales experience required.
