We're looking for a high-performing Senior Sales Account Executive to help us grow our service and preventative maintenance business in the commercial and industrial sectors.
About the RoleAs a Senior Sales Account Executive, you’ll take the lead in expanding our preventative maintenance and service contract portfolio. Your mission: identify new business opportunities, build relationships, and provide clients with reliable, value-driven MEP solutions. You’ll work across industries and connect with decision-makers ranging from property managers to executive leaders—delivering solutions that keep buildings running at peak performance.
This is a highly visible, high-impact sales role where success is defined by your ability to close deals, expand our footprint, and elevate the customer experience.
Key ResponsibilitiesIdentify and secure new clients for HVAC and MEP service agreements and maintenance contracts
Lead the full sales cycle: prospecting, presentations, proposal development, and closing
Collaborate with operations, estimating, and service teams to deliver seamless onboarding and long-term success
Build trusted partnerships with key stakeholders—ensuring alignment between client needs and our solutions
Track opportunities and pipeline activity using Salesforce or similar CRM tools
Represent S Mechanical at industry events and trade shows to grow brand awareness and referrals
Maintain a deep understanding of market trends, customer needs, and competitor positioning
Deliver quarterly and annual revenue goals while driving long-term client value
3+ years of successful B2B sales experience in the HVAC, mechanical, or construction services industry
Proven track record of closing preventative maintenance or service contracts
Strong negotiation, communication, and client relationship management skills
Entrepreneurial mindset with a drive to own results and grow a book of business
Familiarity with MEP systems, service operations, and technical selling strategies
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; Salesforce experience preferred
Bachelor’s degree in business, construction management, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
Ability to travel regularly within the Chicagoland area for client visits and events
Competitive base salary up to $110K (depending on experience)
