What We’re Looking For Iridium is looking for a strategic and results-driven Senior Sales and Business Development Manager to accelerate global awareness, adoption, and revenue growth for our emerging Non-Terrestrial Networking (NTN) and Cellular products and services. In this high-impact role, you will own the development and execution of market expansion strategies, cultivate a pipeline, strengthen existing partnerships, and identify new channel and technology partners to scale our reach and close distribution gaps worldwide. You will drive growth in key verticals, uncover demand, shape solution alignment, and forge strategic partnerships to deliver Iridium’s NTN and Cellular offerings. What You’ll Do Drive strategic pipeline development and lead complex sales cycles for the new NTN and Cellular service portfolio Establish, strengthen, and expand high-value partnerships that unlock long-term strategic growth and market access Identify, prospect, and strategically assess opportunities with potential customers within key vertical markets to create long-term value Visit prospective customers to promote solutions according to the company strategy Build and maintain executive-level relationships with key decision-makers at enterprise and government organizations seeking advanced satellite connectivity solutions Develop a deep understanding of prospective clients’ connectivity requirements Champion Iridium’s value proposition to ensure our products are understood by key decision-makers to stimulate demand for adoption Collaborate cross-functionally with the IoT Line of Business, Channel Management, and Sales Management to develop new business growth opportunities Oversee the development and maintenance of a sales funnel Assist in end-user demonstrations, seminars, road shows, and project development Support regional sales processes including prospecting, qualifying, meetings, and collaboration with Channel Management and IoT Line of Business Prepare and conduct assessment meetings with Iridium leadership to help meet or exceed targets Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory developments in NTN, IoT, and global carrier markets Provide feedback on competitor implementation, pricing, promotions, etc. What You’ll Need to Succeed Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics or related field Minimum 10 years of direct sales experience Demonstrable track record in selling technology-based products and services or solutions Demonstrate successful examples of sales to end users, and the ability to identify, research, prospect and deliver new sales Willing and able to travel globally regularly to visit prospects and support sales up to 30% Familiar with a fast-paced, professional, results-oriented atmosphere and a well-organized approach Excellent communication skills to convey products, deliverables, analyses, and issues clearly and confidently Strategic thinker with good judgment and decisiveness Experience working with US and international management teams Things That Would Be Great if You Brought to the Table Knowledge of mobile satellite services is highly desirable Fluency in languages other than American English We’ll also need you to Ability to travel up to 30% of the time To comply with U.S. Government export control regulations, including ITAR and EAR, applicants must be U.S. citizens, U.S. lawful permanent residents, or protected individuals as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3) Work Environment This position primarily works in an office setting and is largely sedentary with the majority of the position working with a computer. The role typically requires the use of basic office equipment such as a phone, video, computer, keyboard, mouse, and printer.
