Position Title:
Senior Sales and Purchasing
Position Summary:
Hanline Fresh is seeking a driven and entrepreneurial Produce Broker to grow sales and build lasting partnerships within the fresh produce industry. This role is responsible for connecting growers and shippers with buyers across retail, wholesale, and foodservice channels, negotiating competitive deals, and driving profitable business growth. The ideal candidate has strong sales instincts, relationship-building skills, and a passion for the fast-paced produce market.
Responsibilities:
· Drive sales growth by sourcing new customers and expanding business with existing accounts.
· Negotiate pricing, volume, and terms to maximize margins while maintaining customer satisfaction.
· Proactively develop new supplier and buyer relationships to broaden the company’s network.
· Stay ahead of market trends, supply/demand fluctuations, and seasonal availability to identify opportunities.
· Manage a daily book of business with a focus on volume movement and profitability.
· Provide customers with timely updates, market intelligence, and competitive offers.
· Collaborate with the logistics team to ensure smooth and on-time deliveries.
· Resolve any customer or supplier issues with urgency and professionalism.
· Consistently meet or exceed sales targets and revenue goals.

Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Agriculture, or related field preferred (or equivalent sales experience).
· Proven track record in sales, account management, or brokerage — produce industry experience strongly preferred.
· Exceptional negotiation, persuasion, and closing skills.
· Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to build trust with customers.
· Ability to work independently, manage multiple deals simultaneously, and thrive under pressure.
· High energy, entrepreneurial mindset, and a passion for sales.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; CRM or produce trading software experience a plus.
· Knowledge of fresh produce, perishability, and supply chain dynamics is a strong advantage.
· Minimum 5 years purchasing experience
· Minimum 3 years of sales experience

· 80-90K Salary
