About this Location: This position is located at the Embassy Suites by Hilton Convention Center in Las Vegas, NV . We are right in the middle of the action! Our hotel is perfectly situated next to the Las Vegas Convention Center and just three miles from Harry Reid International Airport. With the monorail just steps away and world-class entertainment, dining, and shopping minutes from our door, you’ll be working in the heart of all that Las Vegas has to offer. Why do we need you? To manage the sales effort and driving revenue growth of the hotel. This role involves developing and executing strategic sales plans, fostering client relationships, and managing a team of sales professionals to achieve and exceed sales goals. To include developing new accounts, maintaining existing accounts, increasing revenue, mentoring of sales related personnel, implementation of sales and marketing strategies to maximize profits of the hotel while maintaining customer satisfaction. What you will do: Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to maximize revenue from group bookings, corporate clients, and special events. Identify and target new business opportunities across corporate, leisure and event segments. Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to continuously adapt sales strategies. Manage, mentor, and develop the sales team and coordinators, setting clear goals and objectives. Lead regular sales meetings, providing guidance, feedback, and support to ensure the team achieves targets. Collaborate with the Director of Sales to align team efforts with the overall business objectives of the hotel. Works directly with customers and internal associates and departments to ensure full execution of groups and events that include Room Sales, F & B Sales and Catering/Banquets. Develop and grow new and existing accounts to meet and exceed sales revenue goals by prospecting, sales calls and customer relationship building. Represent Hotel by attending networking events, tradeshows, meetings and industry related events. Execute strategic plan for assigned geographic territory/market consistent with department goals. Maintains good rapport with area Chamber of Commerce, and other local civic groups and companies. Manage group inquiries, rate negotiation, proposal writing and contracting to Brand standard and department policies and procedures. Develops and maintains client records and group files Develops and implements sales and marketing strategies. Create and maintain a work environment that promotes teamwork, performance, respect and customer/employee satisfaction. Skills and abilities you bring: Strong knowledge of sales techniques, market trends, and competitor analysis. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Proficient in sales and CRM software (, Delphi, Opera, Salesforce). Originate and carry out sales campaigns. Create new ways of presenting information that will attract people’s attention. Ability to effectively multi-task and adapt quickly to shifting priorities and activities. Writing and delivering speeches, presentations, and drafting campaign progress reports. Engage with and communicate effectively with target audiences. Collaborate effectively across departments, team members and guests. Coordinate and oversee the planning and organization of team tasks. Preferred 5+ years’ experience in one or more of the following areas: Hotel Sales, Convention Services or Hotel Catering and Banquet Operations. Proven leadership capability, with experience in management. Strong analytical skills. Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems in high-pressure environments. Schedule & Hours This position is fulltime Monday – Friday. Some travel will be required.
