The successful candidate will have extensive experience in mechanical systems and a minimum of general understanding of electrical systems./ph3What Youll Be Working On/h3pDevelop and own the standard specifications for central MEP equipment. You will be the author for mechanical equipment specifications and will gather information from the electrical engineering group to co-author electrical specifications./ppOptimize energy efficiency and sustainability for central mechanical systems./ppGather project design needs across multiple projects to develop project-specific bid packages./ppDrive equipment consistency across projects./ppReview the available equipment from vendors, and recommend optimal vendor selections./ppReview proposals from vendors, and level bids on a technical basis./ppReview and approve submittals / shop drawings to ensure alignment with project needs./ppVerify that central systems are incorporated into the design, and installed, tested, and commissioned properly./ppThis role will coordinate tightly with procurement to ensure Owner Furnished (OFCI) equipment is specified, bid, and procured to meet project needs. You will create, edit and own specifications for projects.
