About the Role
The Company is seeking a Senior Vice President, Communications for Ad Sales to play a pivotal role in defining and advancing the external and internal communications strategy. The successful candidate will be a key leader in positioning the company as a market leader in the streaming, addressable, and data-enabled advertising landscape. This executive will work closely with senior leaders across various teams to drive corporate narratives, manage reputational issues, and oversee a wide range of communication efforts, including executive thought leadership, industry press engagement, and internal communications. The role demands a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of the advertising industry, particularly in the areas of data-driven and addressable marketing solutions, programmatic platforms, and performance-based advertising.
Applicants for the SVP, Communications – Ad Sales role at the company should have a minimum of 15 years of relevant communications experience, with at least 5 years in the media, streaming, or ad tech sectors. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in corporate communications, public relations, and executive visibility, as well as strong leadership experience in managing high-performing teams. Key responsibilities include leading the development and execution of strategic communication plans, crafting messaging strategies, and maintaining strong relationships with industry press. The role requires exceptional writing and editorial skills, the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, and a proactive approach to crisis management. A Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred, and experience in advertising sales or a related B2B environment is a plus.
