Environmental & Power Services, Inc. (EPS) is seeking a motivated and relationship-focused Service Sales Representative to grow our service agreement business across the Springfield, VA region. In this role, you'll act as a trusted advisor to commercial and industrial clients-helping them optimize building operations, reduce downtime, and improve energy performance through our tailored HVAC service solutions.
This is a consultative sales position ideal for someone who thrives on understanding client needs, creating value-driven proposals, and building long-term partnerships. Key Responsibilities-
Develop new business opportunities through proactive prospecting within a defined territory-
Promote and sell preventive maintenance and service agreement programs-
Conduct on-site client assessments to identify facility challenges and recommend solutions-
Prepare and present proposals that emphasize value and ROI-
Close new service contracts and maintain strong client follow-up-
Coordinate with technical and service teams to ensure flawless delivery-
Manage pipeline and sales activities using CRM tools-
Attend industry networking events, trade shows, and client meetings
Qualifications-
2+ years of B2B service sales experience (HVAC, janitorial, security, IT, or similar)-
Proven ability to generate leads and close service contracts-
Strong consultative selling skills with a focus on solution-based selling-
Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities-
Experience working with facility managers, property managers, and executive-level decision makers-
Self-motivated with strong organizational and time management skills-
Proficiency with CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications (Not Required):-
Experience in commercial HVAC or building services-
Understanding of preventive maintenance or energy efficiency programs-
Established relationships in sectors like education, property management, healthcare, or manufacturing
