Showroom Sales Specialist

The Showroom Sales Specialist is an established performer that works to facilitate and support the Sales and Design teams by utilizing strong knowledge of flooring industry practices to help drive sales. This role will work to manage and maintain the day-to-day activities of the showroom by providing sales support, special event assistance, and administrative support to the Sales teams and local design community.   Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $50,000 and $75,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the compensation package, which depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other company sponsored benefit programs.    Duties and Responsibilities of the Position:  Maintain and track all showroom events, meetings, industry events, and customer visits. Act as a liaison for customers and Sales teams. Maintain showroom and sample inventory level by coordinating sample orders, maintaining sample resources library, and removing discontinued products. Maintain product displays to support current product selections in line with company design standards. Support Sales team with product layouts by providing samples for meetings and sales visits. Support Sales team with coordinating meetings and special events in the showroom, including scheduling catering, entertainment, events, etc. Assist with social media for the showroom as part of the brand strategy while adhering to corporate social media guidelines. Maintain the showroom by performing maintenance such as restocking, cleaning, etc. Perform other duties as needed. Required Experience and Education: Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred. 2-4 years’ relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience. Competencies: Demonstrates strong knowledge of technical, process, and business principles as well as industry practices and standards. Excellent communication, problem solving, and organizational skills. Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively. High level of integrity and discretion in handling sensitive and confidential data. Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite products.
