The purpose of the Site Compliance Manager role is to support multiple operational sites by driving continuous improvement, ensuring compliance with company processes, and leading the implementation of change initiatives. The role focuses on identifying and resolving compliance issues, analysing data to inform decision-making, and collaborating with site teams to enhance operational performance. Acting as a key link between central functions and site operations, the manager ensures best practices are shared, training needs are addressed, and new initiatives are effectively rolled out.
Main duties and responsibilities
What you do:
Effectively communicate and implement change through both formal and informal channels.
Ensure compliance with operational processes by managing and auditing site Radio Data Terminals (RDTs).
Create, maintain, and audit internal compliance failure records, investigate root causes of recurring issues, and work with site teams to identify and implement solutions.
Drive compliance awareness at all levels of site operations and position it as a tool for improvement rather than just control.
Provide expert guidance and support to site teams in all areas of operational compliance.
Collaborate with site teams to identify and deliver process improvement opportunities.
Review and develop operational processes, reporting back on new ideas and efficiencies.
Facilitate regular CI team discussions to share challenges, solutions, and best practices.
Attend sites to provide temporary operational management cover when required.
Analyse system data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
Build and deliver regular, user-friendly compliance reports and dashboards for site and senior leadership teams.
Conduct cost-benefit analyses (CBA) of projects and report findings to the business.
Lead or support the roll-out of new company initiatives and procedures across sites.
Manage and support key customer onboarding or project-based activity at site level.
Work closely with cross-functional teams including IT to design and implement effective compliance and reporting solutions.
Identify training needs and skills gaps at site level and communicate them to relevant leads.
Support the development of training materials and sessions to close compliance and knowledge gaps.
Build confidence in compliance tools and reporting among site teams, promoting them as enablers for operational excellence.

Person specification:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (both verbal and in writing)
Excellent attention to detail
Ability to perform under pressure
Experienced to a Super User status of a WMS - e.g. JDA, Manhattan, Red Prairie along with Microsoft packages including Excel Innovative, with a positive and proactive approach to change
Proactive, demonstrates a detailed understanding of standard warehouse processes and keeps up to date with new innovations and opportunities.
Experience of leading audits, inspections and investigations.
Ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
Able to use initiative, organise own workload in an efficient and effective manner
Creative approach to problem solving and to thinking ’outside the box’
A good level of numeracy
Understanding of basic employment law and health & safety regulations
