A business-to-business media company seeks a dedicated graphic designer to join our media company located in downtown Chicago. You will collaborate with our creative director to design print and online magazine content as well as newsletters and marketing materials. Duties include developing graphics for digital and print platforms to engage our business-to-business audiences. Responsibilities · Create and design digital and print content · Select colors, fonts, images, and layouts · Ensure projects are completed in a timely manner with a quality product · Collaborate with Graphic Design Team to develop ideas · Work with a wide range of media and graphic design software · Work within brand guidelines · Manage multiple projects within design specifications and budget restrictions · Determine voice and messaging for graphic design pieces · QA design for errors · Implement feedback and changes whenever possible · Create visualizations that convey accurate messaging for the project. · Job Qualifications and Skill Sets Below are the qualifications that are expected of a graphic designer: · Bachelor’s degree or higher in a creative field or · Proficiency in programs such as Adobe Suite, Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator · Excellent written and verbal communication skills · Minimum of five years experience in graphic design · Attention to detail · Portfolio of work with a wide range of creative projects · Strong analytical skills · Time management and organizational skills · Familiarity with HTML and CSS preferred · Knowledge of layouts, graphic fundamentals, typography, print, and web · Experience with both print and digital media Company Description SOLA Group, Inc. is a business media company covering the $900 billion business of residential design and construction.
