Overview The SR Manager Sales is a senior-level manager who leads a sales team using expert industry knowledge and direction to achieve company objectives. This role increases commercial sales within an assigned territory and develops and retains an effective architectural sales team. This employee can be based out of Manassas, Atlanta or Charlotte.
Responsibilities Increase sales by leading the Architectural team to obtain account specifications.
Mentor and coach the Architectural team on presentation skills, product knowledge, internal procedures, design trends, and product promotions.
Work closely with internal teams to obtain proprietary sales specifications for the company.
Maintain strong relationships with top architectural and design firms to drive growth.
Emphasize new product promotions and design trends with the architectural and design community.
Foster development of the architectural team to present at seminars, trade shows, and project meetings.
Hold the team accountable to commercial measures and goals while creating opportunities for growth.
Provide guidance to the team within the latitude of established company policies and procedures.
Address issues of diverse scope requiring analysis of data and understanding of current business trends.
Frequent interaction with functional peer groups, other company divisions, or customers.
Perform other duties as needed.
Qualifications Required Experience and Education
Bachelors degree in a related field preferred.
8-10 years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
3-5 years of management experience.
