We are seeking a skilled Senior Automation Security Engineer to support our sales and solutions efforts, optimize our position in high-growth markets, and align with innovators from all walks of life. Ideal location: Little Rock, AR or Memphis, TN Experience & Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in cybersecurity, computer science, engineering, or a related field, information technology or equivalent experience in ICS security Extensive knowledge of ICS security and best practices for securing industrial automation environments Familiarity with key ICS security frameworks, including:
NERC CIP, IEC 62443, and other relevant standards
Strong expertise in IT network security, including:
Managed switches, VLANs, VPNs
Intrusion detection (Syslog-ng, etc.) and log analysis services Cloud security platforms and remote access security best practices Experience with fieldbus protocols, industrial automation networks, and cybersecurity challenges in OT environments
Proficiency in programming and system administration, including:
Linux, Docker, CODESYS
Security scripting and automation (C, JavaScript, Python)
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills
Duties and Responsibilities : Serve as a technical security expert for WAGO's sales team and customers, developing secure automation solutions Conduct ICS security assessments and recommend best practices for securing industrial networks and control systems Assist in network design, segmentation, and protection strategies, including VLAN configurations, VPN setups, and managed switch security Implement intrusion detection, logging, and monitoring solutions to enhance OT security and compliance Provide training and consultation on ICS security standards, frameworks, and emerging cybersecurity threats Develop technical documentation, security guidelines, and best practices to support WAGO's automation solutions Stay ahead of emerging cybersecurity threats and industry trends to continually improve WAGO's security posture Additional Responsibilities : Must be able to travel via airplane Must have a valid driver's license and be able to operate an automobile for up to six hours at a time Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. Travel estimate up to 50%.
