ABOUT THE ROLE
The Sr. Sales Engineer provides pre-sales technical support for all Tungsten Automation products and associated applications. While assigned to a geographic area, Sr. Sales Engineers collaborate with and backup peers nationwide to provide efficient pre-sales support. This role is responsible for preparing demonstrations, handling technical issues, maintaining product knowledge, and supporting the sales process from initial prospect contact through successful implementation transition.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Prepare standard and custom demonstrations for Tungsten Automation Account Managers and resellers
Handle all pre-sales technical issues professionally and efficiently
Maintain in-depth knowledge of Tungsten Automation products and content repositories
Develop understanding of key verticals including Financial Services, Insurance, Manufacturing, Logistics, and Healthcare
Support business processes through process assessments, solution development, and requirements analysis
Respond to technical questions in RFI/P/Qs and share best practices with other Sales Engineers
Create and distribute reusable assets for the Tungsten Automation community including demonstrations, presentations, training materials, and whitepapers
Provide feedback to Product Development regarding new features, performance improvements, and bug elimination
Manage transition from pre-sales to post-sales by preparing Professional Services for efficient installations
Prepare resellers on technical aspects of Tungsten Automation solutions and serve as technical point of contact
Conduct interviews with prospects to determine business requirements and build valid Return on Investment analysis
Deliver professional presentations and demonstrations while managing multiple concurrent sales campaigns
Support solution selling methodologies and utilize the Tungsten Automation Sales Process

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
7-10 years' experience supporting a solution sales team in the pre-sales technical role
Experience leading complex, technical, enterprise solution-based opportunities through successful close
Bachelor's degree in information systems, computer science, information technology or related discipline, or equivalent years of experience
Professional presentation experience and publishing of white papers, blogs, or thought leadership assets
Business analysis capabilities at both IT and LOB level, including ability to document analysis in useable, shareable format
Experience working with various partners and channel organizations
Knowledge and experience with Visual Basic and Java programming languages
Understanding of networking and operating system concepts, J2EE, XML, .NET, OCR, ICR and their use in business processing
Fundamentals level understanding of Cloud, Cloud Services, and deploying Enterprise Software on the Cloud
Experience in business process management/software industry preferred
Ability to travel 50% and lift/carry at least 50 pounds
Excellent communication, listening, analysis, project management, and time management skills
Strong presentation skills and experience in team selling and solution selling methodologies

The base salary range for this role, across the US, is $120,000 - $209,000.  Your actual base pay within this range will be determined by your work location as well as skills, qualifications, experience, and relevant education/training. The range provided reflects only the base salary for the role and does not include benefits.
