Position Summary:

The Senior Sales Manager will play a critical role in managing key strategic initiatives and retail programs across our two largest mass retail partners—Walmart and Lowe's. This role requires a detail-oriented, organized, and highly communicative individual capable of driving alignment across internal cross-functional teams and ensuring flawless execution of retail programs.

The SSM will act as the connective tissue between Sales, Supply Chain, Product Development, Marketing, and Retail Operations—ensuring project timelines, deliverables, and expectations are met to support Greenworks' continued success in the mass retail channel.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the lead project manager for all cross-functional initiatives related to Walmart and Lowe's accounts.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and deliverable tracking documents.
  • Lead weekly status meetings and provide clear project updates to internal stakeholders and SVP.
  • Partner closely with Sales to ensure alignment on customer expectations, key milestones, and execution timelines.
  • Coordinate with Product, Marketing, and Supply Chain to manage packaging, merchandising, inventory availability, and promotional execution.
  • Serve as point of contact for issue resolution across key deliverables related to launch timelines, packaging compliance, or production delays.
  • Monitor retailer compliance requirements and ensure alignment with Walmart Retail Link(Scintilla), Lowe's Item Management, and related systems.
  • Identify project risks early and implement mitigation strategies to maintain momentum.
  • Provide post-launch reporting and performance analysis to inform future programs.

Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Project Management, Marketing, Supply Chain, or related field.
  • 5–7+ years of project management experience in a consumer goods or retail-facing industry.
  • Proven experience supporting or managing mass retail accounts (Walmart, Lowe's, Target, etc.)
  • Strong understanding of retail execution workflows and item set-up processes.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Project, Excel, and project tracking tools (Smartsheet, Monday.com, etc.)
  • Exceptional organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • PMP certification or formal project management training
  • Experience with battery-powered or consumer durable goods
  • Familiarity with Scintilla, Lowe's Vendor Portals, or retail compliance tools
  • Cross-functional team leadership experience
