Department: Retail - StadiumReports to: Store ManagerRate: Position starts at $22.75/HRThe Pro Shop souvenir locations at Lumen Field; the premier destination for Seahawks and Sounders FC fans to find the best selection of team merchandise on event days is now hiring for part time sales associates.SUMMARY The Pro Shop Sales Associate is responsible with providing guests with the highest level of guest service in an exciting atmosphere where their passion for their team is matched by the staff creating a first class fan experience. Shifts typically start 4 hours before Seahawks kickoff and 2.5 hours before Sounders matches and range from 6 - 9 hours. Please look over the schedule before submitting your application. You must meet the minimum work requirements in order to be eligible for this position.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Acknowledge and greet guests as they enter the store or approach the counter and provide the highest level of guest serviceMaintain highest standards of product knowledge, sales techniques and guest serviceHandle all customer concerns in a proactive and positive mannerEffectively operate a cash register with accuracy and accountabilityContinuously stock, merchandise and replenish the store following the merchandising guidelines.Help maintain a pristine and safe work environment, which includes cleaning, sizing, organizing, sweeping and dusting on a daily basisAct as an ambassador of the Seattle Seahawks and Sounders FC by conducting yourself in a manner that heightens the public's view of the Seahawks and Sounders FC organizationsPerform additional related work as assignedFollow all company policies and proceduresAssist in the changing of merchandise between Seahawks and Sounders FC gamesWork a minimum of 50% Sounders FC matches and 80% Seahawks gamesWork all International Friendlies and Playoff games for any and all teamsWork The Pro Shop booth at VMAC during training campEDUCATION/EXPERIENCEHigh School Diploma preferredBasic understanding of the retail environment and guest serviceLANGUAGE SKILLSMust possess excellent communication skillsMATHEMATICAL SKILLSAble to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions and decimalsPHYSICAL DEMANDSThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
