The Supplier Quality Compliance Engineer is a highly motivated individual that supports Supplier Quality Compliance systems and command media. This individual is responsible for executing the Material Alert process to ensure compliance with requirements and command media. This individual engages with BAE Systems functional stakeholders, maintains Material Alert timeline requirements, hosts Material Alert status meetings, helps to maintain and update command media documentation, and utilizes Quality Engineering skills and experience to help shape Supplier Quality control systems and tools.
This individual has solid communication skills as well as the ability to build effective relationships across all levels of the organization.
Discrete role responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Reviewing and redlining command media for improvement/updates as required, creating communication plans, and supporting the process through release
Executing the Material Alert process
Cross-functional engagement with stakeholders to include: Procurement, Supply Chain, Operations, Program Management, and Engineering disciplines
Occasional interaction fielding DCMA inquiries
Performs Data Extraction/Performance Analysis/Reporting
Supporting Continuous Improvement projects
This is a 100% remote position from anywhere in the U.S.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills Bachelor’s Degree and 6-8 years of related experience or 10-12 years of experience in lieu of degree
Extensive knowledge and experience with AS9100, ISO9001
Knowledge or practical skills in Quality Management Systems, Program Management, Engineering Disciplines, Supply Chain Management
Able to read, comprehend, and interpret industry standards, specifications, customer requirements, and internal command media policies & procedures
Self-motivated and able to manage multiple tasks and priorities with minimal oversight and direction
Strong analytical skills, including ability to solve complex problems, manage without direct authority, analyze data and create meaningful charts & reports for management
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills Familiarity and experience with Receiving Inspection processes and best practices
Experience with AS9100 or ISO9001 audit methods
Past or current Green Belt Certification to Lean Six Sigma
Possesses continuous improvement skills, including technical writing, process/workflow mapping, Lean Six Sigma, and other process improvement practical experience
Experience interacting directly with government customer representative
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $130355 - $221603
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
