Overview Salesforce seeks an inspiring and transformative SVP of Sales to lead Data Cloud sales in AMER and EMEA. This role requires a visionary leader with the ability to shape the direction of Data Cloud, Salesforce’s data platform. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in data platforms, data analytics, and cloud technologies, with a proven track record of driving revenue growth and building high-performing, resilient sales organizations. Location for this role is open to major hubs in AMER or EMEA and does not require relocation.
Key Responsibilities Data Cloud Leadership: Define and lead a distinct, compelling vision for Data Cloud. Drive exceptional performance across a specialized sales team while fostering cross-functional collaboration to maximize impact within Salesforce.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Sales, Account Management, Marketing, Finance, Employee Success, and Recruiting to maximize resources for Data Cloud. Use feedback from customers and internal teams to influence product development and refine the strategic roadmap.
Growth Strategy: Jointly own the long-term growth strategy for Data Cloud. Identify new opportunities within industry verticals, expand business channels, and cultivate strategic partnerships.
Team Leadership & Talent Development: Build and lead a high-performing Data Cloud team, driving recruitment, development, coaching, and performance management. Foster a diverse and inclusive culture aligned with Salesforce values.
Required Qualifications Expertise in data platforms, cloud technologies, and data analytics, with the ability to communicate complex technical solutions to technical and non-technical audiences.
Proven experience leading third or fourth-line strategic sales teams at national or global levels, with a track record of exceeding revenue targets.
Demonstrated success in recruiting, developing, and retaining high-performing teams.
Ability to drive organizational transformation, foster cultural change, and implement continuous improvements in high-growth environments.
Deep experience managing relationships within matrixed organizations and collaborating across multiple business units.
Strong operational and analytical skills, with a passion for data-driven decision-making.
Degree or equivalent relevant experience. Experience will be evaluated based on core competencies (e.g., extracurricular leadership roles, military experience, volunteer roles, work experience, etc.).

For New York-based roles, the base salary hiring range is $296,000 to $397,000. For California-based roles, the base salary hiring range is $296,000 to $397,000. For Illinois-based roles, the base salary hiring range is $296,000 to $397,000. For Massachusetts-based roles, the base salary hiring range is $296,000 to $397,000. Compensation offers consider location, level, knowledge, skills, and experience. Some roles may include incentives, equity, and benefits.
