Salesforce seeks an inspiring and transformative SVP of Sales to lead Data Cloud sales in AMER and EMEA. This role requires a visionary leader with the ability to shape the direction of Data Cloud, Salesforce's data platform. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in data platforms, data analytics, and cloud technologies, with a proven track record of driving revenue growth and building high-performing, resilient sales organizations. This role leads an international team and can be based in any major hub in AMER or EMEA. It does not require relocation.

Summary

As SVP of Data Cloud - AMER and EMEA, you will lead a distinct specialist sales team to maximize the impact of Data Cloud, while fostering cross-functional collaboration. Your leadership will drive a sales organization known for its growth and influence within the Salesforce ecosystem. You will champion core values of trust, customer success, innovation, equality, and sustainability, setting a standard for excellence.

You will partner with prospective clients to address their most pressing challenges and demonstrate how Data Cloud can deliver customized solutions to meet critical business needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Data Cloud Leadership: Define and lead a compelling vision for Data Cloud. Drive exceptional performance across a specialized sales team and foster cross-functional collaboration to maximize impact within Salesforce.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Salesforce functions (Sales, Account Management, Marketing, Finance, Employee Success, Recruiting) to maximize resources for Data Cloud. Use feedback from customers and internal teams to influence product development and refine the strategic roadmap.

  • Growth Strategy: Jointly own the long-term growth strategy for Data Cloud. Identify new opportunities within industry verticals, expand business channels, and cultivate strategic partnerships to drive growth.

  • Team Leadership & Talent Development: Build and lead a high-performing Data Cloud team, driving recruitment, development, coaching, and performance management. Foster a diverse and inclusive culture aligned with Salesforce values.

Required Qualifications

  • Expertise in data platforms, cloud technologies, and data analytics, with the ability to communicate complex technical solutions to technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Proven experience leading strategic sales teams at national or global levels with a track record of exceeding revenue targets.

  • Demonstrated success in recruiting, developing, and retaining high-performing teams.

  • Ability to drive organizational transformation, foster cultural change, and implement continuous improvements in high-growth environments.

  • Experience navigating highly matrixed organizations and collaborating across multiple business units.

  • Strong operational and analytical skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.

  • Degree or equivalent relevant experience required. Experience will be evaluated based on core competencies for the role (e.g., extracurricular leadership roles, military experience, volunteer roles, work experience).
