Position Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Technical Inside Sales Representative to join our team. This role is responsible for managing customer relationships, providing technical support during the sales process, and driving revenue growth through proactive communication with both existing and prospective customers. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge in manufacturing or industrial products, excellent communication skills, and the ability to translate customer needs into effective solutions. Key Responsibilities Respond to inbound customer inquiries via phone, email, and online platforms, providing product information, pricing, and availability. Proactively follow up on leads, quotes, and customer requests to close business and meet sales targets. Prepare and process quotations, proposals, and orders with a high degree of accuracy. Collaborate with engineering, production, and customer service teams to ensure feasibility, pricing, and delivery requirements are met. Develop a strong understanding of company products, applications, and manufacturing capabilities to effectively support customer needs. Identify opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and new business development. Maintain CRM records to ensure accurate tracking of customer interactions, opportunities, and pipeline activity. Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting to customers as needed. Support outside sales representatives with account management and project follow-up. Participate in product training sessions, trade shows, and team meetings as required. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered. 2+ years of inside sales, technical sales, or customer service experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment. Strong technical aptitude with the ability to learn and explain complex products. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot). Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
