We are seeking a Technical Sales Engineer to join our team, to specialize in providing process monitoring solutions to municipal clients in the water and wastewater treatment industry. Primary Responsibilities Following an extensive onboarding and training process, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing remote and on-site technical support for the Sales Team. This includes defining and presenting process monitoring solutions using ChemScan, Partech and In-Situ products along with integrating third-party products such as pumps and shelters. Sales Support: Work with sales team to meet with customers and understand their technical issues and requirements Review project plans and specifications to assist in preparing product and third-party quotations Create system-level diagrams and technical documentation for large projects Operations & Project Management: Create P&IDs (Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams) as needed for internal and external communications Prepare custom submittal packages per project specifications and, working with the team, negotiate to final acceptance Review manufacturing release definitions for configured products Manage third-party product definitions, purchasing, delivery, and support relationships Coordinate production, delivery, and installation of monitoring systems from design through completion Service Support: Support field service teams during installation and commissioning phases Support/coordinate third-party products through the warranty period Position Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in chemical or mechanical engineering, or similar discipline Must have experience working in the U.S. municipal markets 3-5+ years of experience in water/wastewater construction projects Experience with processing applications and hydro-mechanical process systems design (preferably projects up to $1M) Applicant must be eligible to work in the United States Applicant must hold a valid passport for international travel Required Skills Technical understanding of water and wastewater treatment equipment Experience in project management Proficiency with 2D and 3D modeling software for customer-facing documentation Excellent customer service skills Strong collaborative skills with the ability to develop and maintain effective internal and external relationships and communications Ambitious and open to learn and adapt High attention to detail and thoroughness in a multitasking environment Strong time management skills Positive attitude with ability to accept continuous improvements to processes Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, CRM systems, and ERP systems Working Environment/Physical Activities: 50%+ travel Lifting, bending, reaching, squatting, walking, sitting Ability to traverse natural environments Ability to lift at least 20 pounds Total Rewards:
Compensation:  Compensation will be commensurate with the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as alignment with market data and internal benchmarks.
