Responsible for interfacing with customers while obtaining a solid understanding of the dynamics and technology trends of the markets in the Permian Basin.
Work with customers and personnel to identify, develop and deliver value added, customer driven products, services and solutions.
Provide technical assessments of product performance and customer feedback on service & quality.
Present product/service presentations to customers
Become familiar with market needs, technology developments and trends through customer calls, industry contacts and participation in industry organizations, trade shows and technical conferences.
Practice good time management skills and maximize effectiveness of customer phone and personal interface time.

Create customer profiles highlighting their strategy and needs, while maintaining strategy and initiatives to address them and help them grow their business.
Obtain a balance between a compassion for satisfying customer needs with that of the need to achieve internal product objectives such as gross margin targets.
Develop fiscal year forecasts and territory, product line(s) or industry plans which support the
company’s budget and are consistent with the spirit of the company’s strategic plan.
Provide initial product trouble shooting/service in the field as required
Make direct sales calls (phone or physical) and pursue projects within the assigned territory, product line(s) or industry
Accountable for achieving budgeted sales and bookings of the company’s products within the
assigned sales territory, product line(s) or industry
Self-starter able to operate independently within a defined sales territory
May perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
3 to 5 years’ experience in outside sales, preferred (production or midstream equipment), specifically with product knowledge
Prior experience in selling to: E&P’s, Engineering Firms, and contractors in the Oil and Gas,
Pipeline, Petroleum or Process Industries
